DIY.. by Kemi Adebayo Ogunode

Hello friends, i feel blessed to see another beautiful day and i believe you feel the same. We should be grateful for life no matter what, we all have one or two things we want a certain way, however that thing can be made possible as long as we are still breathing.
So my first write up on my blog was about women, just few words to remind us of how beautiful we are and what our definition of beauty should be. We are indeed a blessing. And thanks to those who took their time to read it, if you haven't kindly do, the topic is WOMAN. It's nice to be reminded and might help some of us reconsider what beauty really mean to us.

Today, i will be talking a little about myself and one of the DIY projects am working on. I believe some of my friends already know a little about me from my Facebook bio. Though am a lawyer by profession but am a stay at home mom at the moment. Some of us will agree with me when i say as sweet and interesting as it is to be a mom there are still some part of us that want to do more as least that is the case with me even though being a mom is the most important thing to me.

Without boring you with my story, i have always had a thing for art and craft so i wasn't surprised when i started thinking of making useful stuffs out of things we consider useless especially old stuffs, more so recycling is good.
So,my second baby who is also a boy happens to love food even more than his brother did, breastfeeding wasn't enough i had to introduce baby formula, some of us probably don't know about this similac bottles but i will be displaying some pictures below so you can have an idea of what i am using for this little project. I decided to make a table lamp or a decorative candle holder out of these plastics. Here are the pictures..

These are the similac bottles, though none of these is use for this particular project but am displaying it so we can know how i came about the material am using, the next picture is the plastic holder that holds four of the small bottles together and you can find two in a pack.

The above picture has the plastics that i used for the main body i hope it's noticeable, pardon the picture. The next pictures show the plastic holder been put together. It can be placed either way.

So depending on how many of these holder you have, you can make it into any shape or sizes.
I will share the outcome of the lamp and i hope you all will like it. i will post it on pinterest for those of us who are on pinterest and i will also encourage those of us that are interested and creative with arts and crafts to go on pinterest, you will find a lot of people with beautiful creative ideas on there, it's very interesting. While i am waiting to receive one of the items i need to complete the lamp i will start on some Christmas DIY decorations and i will be sharing on here as well.

Thank you all for you audience will be happy to show off the finishing of the lamp soon and will be happy to answer questions regarding this. You all should have a blissful week.
